Welcome to Anand’s Journey

Hello, Dearest Reader,

My name is Anand, and I am delighted to welcome you to my journey.

I was raised in a holistic Indian family, where healing was part of everyday life. Most evenings, we would gather by the fire, watch a movie, and massage each other—so massage truly feels like second nature to me.

My mother studied various holistic therapies, and as I grew up, she practiced them on us, teaching me her new skills so I could offer these therapies in return. Together, we explored:

  • Reflexology

  • Indian Head Massage

  • Warm Bamboo Massage

  • Natural Facelift Therapy

  • Reflex Therapy

  • Access Bars

  • Reiki

  • Aromatherapy

  • Meditation

  • Kundalini Yoga

We also loved creating our own essential oil blends, discovering the magic of combining specific oils to affect the mind and body. This was an incredible way to connect with the power of nature and healing.

In 2017, I completed my Level 3 Spa and Body Therapies Diploma, qualifying in Indian Head Massage, Aromatherapy, Swedish No Hands, and Hot and Cold Stone Therapy.

My journey then took me to The Christie NHS Foundation Trust, where I worked for nearly four years, starting as a volunteer and progressing to a qualified Phlebotomist/HCA, ultimately earning my Senior Health Care Diploma.

After the second year of the pandemic, I decided to take a break from my hospital work and immerse myself in further learning. I achieved qualifications in:

  • Natural Facial Lift

  • Deep Tissue Massage

  • Myofascial Release Techniques

  • Pregnancy Massage

  • Crystal Healing & Chakra Balancing

  • Myofascial Dry Cupping

  • Aroma-Reflexology

  • Seated Acupressure Chair Massage

I practiced these new skills with my clients at The Zero Gravity Float Spa, enriching both my work and my clients' experiences.

I then spent five weeks in Chiang Mai, Thailand, where I studied Level 1 Traditional Thai Yoga Massage and experienced many different massage therapies myself, learning how they could benefit my body.

Along the way, I discovered a course that completely captivated me: Massage for Trauma - Touch Therapies (The Power of Gentle). Initially skeptical, I felt drawn to it and trusted the process. What followed was a transformative experience. During the course, I felt intense tension in my chest and throat—emotions I had been holding onto for years. After receiving the gentle touch therapy, I experienced an out-of-body moment of deep relaxation, eventually feeling all the pain and tension dissolve. This profound experience solidified my desire to share the relief and freedom I felt with others.

I have always loved discovering new healing modalities and sharing them with my clients to help them feel relaxed, comfortable, and at peace within their bodies.

Beyond my therapeutic journey, I have also explored:

  • Non-dual meditation retreats with Rupert Spira

  • Breathwork and cold water exposure with Wim Hof

  • Hakomi Therapy weekend courses

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy

  • Dancing, singing, and sound bathing with singing bowls

Through all of these experiences, I've come to realize that healing is about being present. When we are truly present, that’s where the deepest healing can happen—the most profound love manifests in the now. Whether giving or receiving treatment, when a therapist or client is completely present and connected to their intuition, the experience becomes something extraordinary—full of love, compassion, and deep transformation.

My goal is to offer a space where intuitive presence and healing are at the heart of everything I do. By blending massage therapies and talk therapies, I want to help people reconnect with themselves and find peace once again. I aim to inspire others to be their authentic selves, free from judgment, and create enough safety in their bodies to release anything that no longer serves them—so they can live a joyful, free life.

Thank you for joining me on this journey.

With grace and gratitude,
Anand
